Gary B. Elmer, Of Counsel, practices primarily in the bankruptcy area, representing Chapter 7 and Chapter 11 Trustees, Chapter 7 debtors, Chapter 11 debtors-in possession, Chapter 11 examiners and creditors. In the recent 6 years, he has added creditor representation in the Delaware and Arizona bankruptcy courts and has expanded his practice to include general company representation and corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, intellectual property law, employment law, environmental law, real estate transactions, and real estate brokerage law.

Mr. Elmer is a 1984 graduate from the California Western School of Law where he received the Judge Lloyd E. Griffith scholarship award. He served as Law Clerk to the Honorable Lawrence E. Ollason, Bankruptcy Judge for the District of Arizona and Bankruptcy Appellate Panel Judge from 1985 to 1988 and as Estate Administrator for the United States Bankruptcy Court’s Clerk’s Office in 1989. He has Bar Admissions in California (1988), U.S. District Court, Southern District of California (1988), U.S. District Court, Central District of California (1991), and Arizona (1985), U.S. District Court, Arizona (1985) and Colorado (1986). Mr. Elmer was a past director of the San Diego County Bankruptcy Forum and California Western School of Law Alumni Association. He is a member of the State Bar of California, the State Bar of Arizona, the State Bar of Colorado and the San Diego County Bar Association.
